Is DZMASTER really free?
Yes. It's free, requires no sign-up, and has no track limit — processing runs in your browser, so there's no server cost per track.
Is my track uploaded to a server?
No. The entire mastering chain runs locally in your browser. Your file is never uploaded anywhere and leaves no trace once you close the page.
What file format does DZMASTER support?
Input is WAV (16, 24 or 32-bit, mono or stereo). Output is a mastered WAV at 16 or 24-bit quality.
Does DZMASTER replace a professional mastering engineer?
Not entirely — it performs basic but technically correct mastering (loudness, safe peaks, gentle dynamics evening) without creative EQ shaping of your mix. For a major release a human mastering engineer is still the better choice; for demos, singles or podcasts, DZMASTER is a fast, reliable solution.
How long does processing take?
A typical track (3-5 minutes) processes in a few seconds to under a minute, depending on your device's performance.
